BIOGRAPHY
Rotterdam-based photographer Pauline Köhlen
(b. 1999) navigates the boundary between documentary and fiction in her work. Her practice explores the interplay between the self and the spaces in which it emerges and evolves. Pauline often incorporates her own body through a performative approach that utilizes her physicality and the value of transparency and vulnerability.
In her most recent work, Odyssey - a body in time and space, the artist delves into the interconnectedness of time, space, and self. Each photograph becomes a dialogue between presence and absence, where the body interacts with and reshapes the space it inhabits.
